Overview
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DartRead, including the DartRead
mobile app and this website. By downloading, accessing, or using DartRead, you agree to
these terms.
App license
DartRead is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may use the app on
devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and any terms that apply through
the app marketplace where you downloaded it.
You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the
source code of DartRead except where applicable law expressly allows it.
Your content and third-party sources
DartRead lets you import EPUBs, articles, Substack posts, AO3 works, and other reading
material at your direction. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to
access, import, store, and read that content.
We do not claim ownership over the files, links, notes, reading progress, or other
content you keep in DartRead. Third-party websites and publishers may have their own
terms, copyright rules, paywalls, age gates, or access restrictions, and those remain
your responsibility.
Acceptable use
Do not use DartRead to violate the law, infringe intellectual property rights, bypass
access controls, scrape services without permission, distribute harmful code, or
interfere with the app, website, or third-party services.
Subscriptions and purchases
DartRead may offer optional paid features, including the DartRead Unlimited
auto-renewable subscription. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are
managed by the app marketplace where you made the purchase, such as Apple's App Store or
Google Play.
Subscription access may change if payment fails, a purchase is refunded, or the
marketplace reports that your entitlement is no longer active.
Reading results
DartRead is a reading tool. We do not guarantee a particular reading speed,
comprehension result, productivity outcome, or availability of any third-party content
source.
Changes and availability
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of DartRead over time. We may also
update these terms by posting the revised version here with a new updated date.
Continued use of DartRead after changes means you accept the updated terms.
No warranties
DartRead is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we
disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
noninfringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DartRead and its developer will not be liable
for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for
lost data, lost content, lost profits, or service interruptions arising from your use of
DartRead.
